We had a great plan this year to make a Brazilian-style dinner (Brazilian chorizo empanadas, rum drinks for desserts, etc.) I had a big shoot on Tuesday, and Zack is transitioning between his new and old jobs...we were exhausted. So...we ordered pizza. But it was great, and just what we were wanting on a cold weeknight. And we watched the King's Speech, which was incredibly brilliant.
Zack was so sweet and thoughtful, as per usual. He got me Flogging Molly Living at the Greek Theatre on DVD and made me a cheesecake (adorable!), sent me some gorgeous flowers from our friend Studio Flower, and apparently I have something coming in the mail. I got him a 6-pack of beers from around the world, because quite frankly, international and thoughtfully-brewed beers are the way to my husband's heart. The rest of his gift was dinner, but...
Brazilian night is on hold for this weekend or early next week sometime :)

The cheesecake Z whipped up for me. I love that he made it extra Valentine-y by taking the chocolate syrup bottle to it. That's a "ZM" in the middle there. Precious, no?
